How to order a medicine from Europe: what is allowed, timing and prescriptions
LekInfo is a reference of French medicines, not a pharmacy or a courier. This page gathers what people ask most often before contacting a manager. It is neither legal nor medical advice: import rules change, and prescribing remains a doctor’s decision.

Can medicines be ordered from Europe
Russian law allows individuals to import medicines for personal use, including ones not registered in Russia, when they are intended for the person or their family. Medicines containing narcotic, psychotropic or potent substances follow special rules: supporting medical documents are required and quantities are limited. LekInfo does not advise on such medicines and does not include them in its selections.
Kazakhstan, Belarus and the other EAEU countries have their own personal-import rules, so check your country’s customs requirements before you get in touch. A manager shares what is known about your destination but does not replace official advice.
What LekInfo does
The site shows which medicines are registered in France according to the official BDPM database: names, composition, forms, dispensing conditions and a price guide. Search works by Russian and French names and by active ingredient. The site does not sell medicines or take payment.
A manager checks, free of charge, that the information is current, helps match the Russian and French names, clarifies the conditions and explains the possible ways to obtain the medicine. We usually reply within 2 hours during working hours.
- Find the medicine in the catalog by its Russian or French name or by active ingredient.
- Add the packages you need to the consultation list and set the quantities.
- Send a request the way you prefer: email, Telegram, WhatsApp or phone. No account needed.
- Get the manager’s reply with verified details and options.
Is a prescription needed
In France prescription medicines are dispensed only with a doctor’s prescription. Each package page shows its dispensing conditions from BDPM; brand pages sum them up in one line.
For the consultation it helps to have a doctor’s prescription with the international non-proprietary name, strength and form: a manager will tell you which documents your case needs. Prescribing, dosing and substitution are a doctor’s decisions; LekInfo does not choose treatments.
How long delivery takes
Timing depends on the country, the route and the form of the medicine: usually from several days to several weeks. For medicines with a storage temperature, such as insulins and GLP-1 agonists, the conditions and feasibility of transport are discussed separately.
A manager gives a timing guide during the consultation, after confirming availability in France. The site publishes no delivery times so as not to mislead.
What it costs
The catalog shows a price guide from BDPM data excluding delivery; brand pages show a rounded range. These are reference figures, not an offer to sell: a manager states the final terms during the consultation. The consultation itself is free and carries no obligation.
Worth knowing before you get in touch
A few things that save time for you and the manager.
- The medicine, strength and form must match the doctor’s prescription.
- Check the Russian and French names: the same medicine is often called differently in France.
- Mind the storage conditions: medicines stored at 2–8 °C need a cold chain.
- Keep the prescription or a doctor’s note: they may be needed.
- Medicines with controlled substances are outside our scope.
