Questions and answers
A short guide to how the reference works and how a manager can help.
Is this an online pharmacy?
No. LekInfo is a reference for medicines registered in France. The site does not sell medicines or accept payment. You can ask a manager about specific medicines.
Where does the information come from?
From BDPM, the official French medicines database published by the ANSM agency. The publication date of the current catalog version is shown on each medicine page.
Why is the cost an estimate?
It is a guide based on French data, not an offer to sell. A manager confirms the current details.
What does “commercialized” mean?
It is a BDPM status: the medicine is declared as supplied to the French market. It does not mean that a specific seller has it in stock.
Do I need an account?
No. You can send a request without an account. An account only lets you see your request history across devices.
How quickly will a manager reply?
Usually within 2 hours during working hours, through the channel you chose. You can check the request status in your consultation list.
How much does a consultation cost?
The consultation is free and carries no obligation.
Can I get information about a prescription medicine?
Yes, reference information is available for every medicine in the catalog. Dispensing conditions are shown on the medicine page according to BDPM. Prescribing is a doctor’s decision.
Is there a leaflet in English?
The medicine page shows a translated name, form and composition. The official leaflet is published in French; a manager can help with questions about it.
How do I find an alternative?
Each medicine page lists alternatives from BDPM generic groups — medicines with the same active ingredient. Agree any switch with your doctor.
How do you use my contact details?
Only to reply to your request. See the privacy policy for details.
LekInfo is an information reference. It is not a pharmacy and does not sell medicines. This information does not replace a doctor’s advice.
